In this dialog you can define settings or set them as default.

Copy bitmap to clipboard |
Functionality to copy a bitmap from a function block to programs like word or paint, if active. To do so, copy a function block and paste it in the desired program. Available for the following languages:

Ask for declaration when new variable inserted |
Opens a dialog to create a new variable, after entering a new variable name:

Enable pulse for contact and coils |
Allows to put a "pulse" on a contact or a coil. Available for LD programs. |
Prompt for var name after insert |
After inserting a variable a dialog will be opened to create a new variable, if active. The new variable will be listed in the variable editor too. Available for FBD programs only. |
After insert instance |
Defines, which actions should be done next:

Update local instances when saving the program |
Updates/removes local instances, when the program is saved ant the option is active. |
Use the extended variable creation dialog |
Provides the full dialog for variable creation, if active. |
Underline global variables |
Underlines the name of Global variables in the main window to get a better overview. |
Auto insert variables when inserting a function block |
Shows placeholders for the needed variable, if the option is active and a function block is inserted. |
Display dialog to select inputs/outputs when inserting a function block |
Opens the Select inputs and outputs dialog if active and a function block is moved into the program. Hint: This option is available only, if the option Auto insert variables when inserting a function block is active too. |
Remove unusual local instances when saving the the program |
Removes unused instances automatically from the program during the saving process, if active. Example: If you have got a unused "Inst_BLINK" instance in your program, this will be deleted automatically when you save the program. |

Selections for function blocks. |
Restore Selection mode in FDB toolbar after insert |
Allows to insert one item on several times via a click in the program, if active. For FBD programs only. |
Default information for variables |
Defines, which informations are visible:

Default width for variables |
Defines the default width of variables. Select a value between 2 and 32. Default: 8 A double-click into the column Value opens the dialog to select the default width. |
Default width for function blocks |
Selects the default width of the function block:
A double-click into the column Value opens the dialog to select the default width. |
Auto connect variables when dropped near function block |
Supports the connection of variables and function blocks. |
Remove connected variables when removing function block |
Removes the variables of a function block, which has been deleted. Please note, removed variables are not removed from the variable editor. Example: If a single function block has got two inputs and one output, all 3 variables will be removed. But if the output variable is used as input of another function block, this variable will not be removed. |
Snap to Grid |
Allows to snap link connections to the grid, e.g. links between two function blocks. |
