System Logs
The WP500 device generates system logs that record important system messages, which are typically related to the device's Linux-based operations. These logs are essential for troubleshooting and maintaining the system, as they provide detailed insights into the system’s processes and potential issues.
System logs capture events such as software execution, network activities, system errors, and other relevant system activities. By reviewing these logs, administrators can identify and address operational problems, optimize performance, and ensure system stability.
Monitor System Logs
To monitor system logs in the WP500 device:
- Click on the Logs > System Logs menu in the WP500 web interface.
- Enter the start and end dates to generate system logs for a specific time range.
- Click the Load system log file button to retrieve and display the system logs.
- The system logs will be displayed on the screen, showing details such as the date, time, package name, and message content.
These logs can be used to troubleshoot issues, monitor system health, and maintain device performance.
