SMTP Setting
To enable email notifications for generated threats in Cyburguard, follow these steps to configure SMTP settings:
- Email Configuration:
Navigate to the Cyburguard and locate the "SMTP Settings"
Look for an option related to "Email Configuration."
Enter the following details:
From Email ID (Host Email ID): Your email address used as the sender.
Password: Password associated with the provided email address.
Host: The SMTP server address for your email provider.
SMTP Type: Specify the SMTP Type
- SSL Configuration:
If your email provider uses SSL for secure communication, enter the following details:
SSL Port: The port number for SSL communication.
SSL SMTP Type: Specify the SSL protocol (e.g., "TLSv1.2").
- TLS Configuration:
If your email provider uses TLS for secure communication, enter the following details:
TLS Port: The port number for TLS communication.
TLS Auth: Specify the authentication method if required.
Enable TLS: Set to "True" or "False" based on your email provider's requirements.
- Email Recipients:
Provide the email addresses for threat notifications:
To Email ID: Enter the primary recipient's email address.
CC (Carbon Copy): Optionally, enter email addresses for carbon copy recipients.
BCC (Blind Carbon Copy): Optionally, enter email addresses for blind carbon copy recipients.
- Save Settings:
After entering all the necessary information, locate the "Add" button to save the SMTP configuration settings.
