The Advanced area of the dialog allows to define the settings for the new program.

Hint: If you open the Advanced tab in the New program dialog, all settings are preconfigured and cannot be changed. If you want to change this properties, save your selections and open the Program properties dialog in the tree view via the context menu entry Properties... of the depending program. Now it is possible to change settings and the additional tab Security is available.

Parameter

Description

Enabled: executed in the cycle

The program is compiled and executed as defined in the Execution mode parameters.

Disabled: not included in the cycle

The program is not compiled and not executed in the Runtime Service.

Called by other programs

The program is not considered in the cycle. To execute the program call it within the main program.

Execution mode

Parameter

Description

Called on each cycle

The program is executed on each cycle.

Called periodically

The program is executed only on the defined period and phase.

Period

Defines after how many cycles the program is executed again.

Default: 1 (executed every cycle)

Phase

Defines the cycle, where the program is executed the first time.

Default: 0 (executed with the first cycle)

Parameter

OK

Confirmes the settings and closes the dialog.

Cancel

Closes the dialog without changes.

Help

Opens the corresponding Help topic.
