Dialog to define the Sampling settings.

Go to the output window tab Digital sampling trace and select the context menu entry Setup Sampling... to open the dialog.

Hint: You can open the dialog via the entry Start Sampling too.

This dialog contains the following tabs:

  • Samples
  • Start Conditions
  • Stop Conditions

Samples

Variables

Parameter

Description

Insert variable

Opens the dialog for variable selection. Select the desired variable an click on OK.

The variable name will be shown in the Insert variable textfield and in the Delete variable textfield. Otherwise an error message occurs.

Delete variable

Removes the selected variable from the Delete variable textfield.

Sampling period

Parameter

Description

Each cycle

Sampling is done each cycle.

Time in ms

Sampling is done in the selected time interval.

Default: 0

Start Conditions

Start

Later

Trace start will be done later.

Now

Trace start will be done, if all settings are done.

On

Activates the triggering of the application start via a variable. Click on the ... button to open the variable selection dialog. Select the desired variable and click on OK.

  • Rising edge
  • Falling edge
  • Delay (in Samples): Enter the samplerate via the arrow symbols.

Stop Conditions

Stop

Parameter

Description

Never

No stop condition defined.

When buffer full

Trace stops, if the maximum buffer capaticity is reached.

On

Activates the triggering of the application start via a variable. Click on the ... button to open the variable selection dialog. Select the desired variable and click on OK.

  • Rising edge
  • Falling edge
  • Delay (in Samples): Enter the samplerate via the arrow symbols.

Navigation

Parameter

Confirmes the settings and closes the dialog.

Cancel

Closes the dialog without changes.
