Find Variables dialog
This dialog allows to search for defined variables.
Hint: The search will be done in the selected project only.
Parameter |
Description |
Name |
Textfield to enter the name of the variable, which should be searched for. |
Type |
Data Type of the variable which should be searched for. Select the corresponding Data Type in the drop-down list. |
Find variables via name and/or datatype
Proceeding:
- Click on the Cross references tab of the Output window.
- Click with the right mouse button into the Output window to open the context menu.
- Click on Find Variables....
The Find Variables dialog will be openend. - Type in the variable name in the Name textfield.
Hint: To search for variables like Newvar1 and Newvar2 you can write "Newvar?". To search for all variables you can use the "*" character. - Select the variable datatype in the Type area.
Hint: If you select "*" as variable name and "(All)" as type, an error will occur. - Click on OK to start the search.
