Find Variables dialog

This dialog allows to search for defined variables.

Hint: The search will be done in the selected project only.

Parameter	Description
Name	Textfield to enter the name of the variable, which should be searched for.
Type	Data Type of the variable which should be searched for. Select the corresponding Data Type in the drop-down list.

Find variables via name and/or datatype

Proceeding:

Click on the Cross references tab of the Output window.
Click with the right mouse button into the Output window to open the context menu.
Click on Find Variables....
The Find Variables dialog will be openend.
Type in the variable name in the Name textfield.
Hint: To search for variables like Newvar1 and Newvar2 you can write "Newvar?". To search for all variables you can use the "*" character.
Select the variable datatype in the Type area.
Hint: If you select "*" as variable name and "(All)" as type, an error will occur.
Click on OK to start the search.
