Protecting a program
The Security tab in the Program properties dialog box enables you to protect a program, sub-program or UDFBs against editing.
- To protect the program, press the Set protection button and enter a password. The program is then encrypted. A protected program cannot be open anymore for editing. Its variables remain visible in the variable editor but cannot be modified.
- To remove the protection, press the Remove protection button and enter the password specified when protection was set. The program is then decrypted and becomes available again for editing and modifications.
