Description

New features and Improvement

-Implemented dualA/B readonly rootFS boot strategy with writable overlay FS (added init script for this), fallback to other boot set, and additional persistent data partition 


-Implemented dualA/B update strategy in swupdate 


-Updated wp500 image recipe to removed un-neccesary swupdate packages, add growpart package, overlay fs package, wp500-sudoers package, change users list 


-Added growpart for data partition in post-install script 


-Updated startup-tasks to remove RTC eeprom configuration, add handling for fw resetflags 


-Updated default config to disable lan1, enable usbtty for debug purposes 


-Updated linux device tree, streamlined node for eqos interface (lan0), removed pull-ups from i2c lines 


-Made provision to implement initramfs if needed in future 


-Added script fwupdate.sh to encapsulate raw swupdate. Removed services, files and packages not needed anymore 


-Changed emmc partition table to gpt - to accomodate 6 partitions

-Removed meta-se05x-tas layer, since code moved into meta-tas (this) layer

Fixed Issues

-Cleaned up machine conf for taswp500.  


-Fixed defect in u-boot code for setting FW-REV environment variable. 


-Fixed RTU reset logic, added clearing of overlay and data partitions reset after button pressed for 15 seconds
