The WP500 Gateway enables users to enhance the security of web-based communication by generating self-signed HTTPS certificates. Follow the steps below to generate and apply an HTTPS self-sign certificate through the Identity Store.

HTTPS Certificate Generation:


  •      Access Identity Store:

Log in to the web configuration interface of the WP500 Gateway.

Navigate to the "Identity Store" in certificate section.

  •      Select HTTPS Self-Sign Certificate:

Within the Identity Store, choose the "HTTPS Self-Sign Certificate" option to generate a certificate for securing web-based communication.

  •      Enter Distinguished Name Details:

Provide essential details for the Distinguished Name, including:

Organization Name

Unit

Location

State

Country

  •      Enter Validity in Days:

Specify the validity period of the certificate in days to determine when it expires.

  •      Enter Subject Alternative Name:

For added security, enter Subject Alternative Names (SANs) such as DNS names or IP addresses.

  •      Click on "Generate" Button:

Initiate the certificate generation process by clicking on the "Generate" button.

  •      Click on "Apply" Button:

After successful generation, click on the "Apply" button to apply the certificate settings.
