For a better overview you can group variables, structures, bit fields and ENUMs.

Example: Grouping of variables:

  1. Select in the variable list the variables, which should be grouped .
  2. Open the context menu with a click on the right mouse button.
  3. Click on Group Variables....
A new folder will be created for the new group of variables.
  4. Enter a name for the new group and click on the enter button of the keyboard.
The folder with the grouped variables is stored on the top of the variable list.

If you want to add another variable to the group, you can do this via the drag&drop functionality.

The grouping functionality is available for ENUMs, bit fields and structures too.

Hint: To ungroup the variables, select the folder with the grouped variables or a single variable in the group and click at the context menu entry Ungroup Variables.

To group or ungroup structures, bit fields and ENUMs in the main window you can use:

  • the context menu entries
    • Group types
    • Ungroup types
  • or the menu bar entries
    • Group selected items
    • Ungroup selection

Hint: The items which should be grouped or ungrouped have to be selected, to enable the context menu entries and menu bar entries.
